Kenneth Parcell - Nutsack

I just love 30 Rock and this scene with Kevin Parcell and Jenna Maroney shows why I love it so

A Shed Load Of Crap

Well we spent the whole afternoon clearing out our shed.  It was so cluttered you couldn't actually get into it.  We have spent the last 10 years renovating our current house and the shed was just a dumping ground for tile cutting machines, wallpaper strippers and 100's of tins of paint.  Now that the house is finished we really needed to have a good sort out, so that's exactly what we did.

Two car trips to the tip later and this is the result.

We can finally get all the bikes in (Mr Right is convinced there's now room for him to get another bike, although why you would need more than one bike is beyond me) and enter the shed without having to re-enact the scene from 'Entrapment' when Catherine Zita Jones has to contort her body through all those lasers in a black lycra catsuit (although I have a feeling that Mr Right will rather miss his black lycra catsuit!).

The next area of attack is the loft, I have gradually been getting rid of Buster's old clothes and toys (8 year's worth!) on eBay but it's been slow going and there's still so much to get rid of.  I'll just keep plugging away as I have made some space (not to mention some cash).  It will be worth it in the end just to be rid of all the clutter.

Anyway, I have two followers now, so that's an improvement, would love it to be more but I suppose 'little acorns' and all that.  Although I do feel a little like I'm doing stand-up in a dingy pub somewhere where there are only two punters in the audience, let's hope they don't vote with their feet!

R. Kelly - Trapped In The Closet Part 9

Was having a little tinker with getting YouTube vids onto my blog and I had forgotten how much this video of R. Kelly's musical kitchen sink drama 'Trapped In The Closet' made me laugh

I've Set The Blog Free!

Well I've taken the plunge and set my blog free.  I created a link here from my Facebook page so that my friends on there could take a butchers and let me know what they think (this must be what it feels like when your child passes their driving test and is off out into the big wide world without you and I have to confess that I'm a teensy bit nervous).

So far I've had some lovely feedback from a few of my friends but obviously there's not a lot of content on here yet so it won't keep them amused for long so I will have to get busy posting.  Got lots of old stuff to put on here, which I'll be doing over the next few days and hopefully some new stuff to add along the way.

Right, off to sort out some more photos of my cakes and makes to bore you all with in the coming days.

Ball Bags - Handbag Emporium

A friend of mine mentioned that she needed a purple clutch bag to go with a spiffy new dress she had bought, I was rifling about in Primarni on yet another fashion mission (Khaki Houlihans) when I happened upon this beauty for £4.00 and was ordered to make the purchase at once.

I wrapped this little baby up especially for her in a special 'Ball Bags' branded bag.  'Ball Bags' are purveyors of fine handbags and are the sister company to...

...'I've Got The Shoe-Horn, Have You?' whom she had sent out on a similar mission two years earlier for some gorgeous leopard-print shoes...

...perhaps I have missed my calling and should have been a personal shopper!

Blogged Down with Technology

I have wanted to create a blog for a long time but wasn't really sure that I was technologically savvy enough to pull it off, that was until a couple of weeks ago I was driving home from my weekly hunting expedition (food shop at Sainsbury's) listening to Radio Four's Woman's Hour and there was a segment on the 'Mummy Blogging' phenomenon and I was inspired, I thought if Radio Four are talking about it then I must be able to have a go.

Anyway, this is my first post, as Mr Right is out at a retirement do and the wee ones are having a night away at Nana's I finally have a little time to sit and jiggle with my blog!

I am feeling a little like Kevin from Home Alone when he discovers that his family have gone and he  realises that he can jump on the bed, eat pizza and ice cream, watch crap on TV and rifle through his brother's secret box, I'll do all those things later but for now I am going to sit in bed (NOT at the dining table with the family) and eat my dinner with the television ON.  Bliss!
